Path of the Ants

Path of the Ants

From the green valleys of Tramonti, to the terraces of lemons up to the Sirens Coast in Minori. The Path is a medium difficulty trek that allows you to reach the Municipality of Minori through a pleasant walk through history, culture and nature. The route allows you to visit churches, ancient villages, lemon gardens, woods and suddenly reaching the sea…

The Path of the Formichelle (or ants) is a tribute to women who over the centuries have distinguished themselves for the self-denial with which they have allowed the transport of local products, particularly lemons, through the roughness of the territory. We are talking about a story that has lasted since the dawn of time, which is still present in the historical memory of the inhabitants of this magnificent part of Italy today.

During this walk we will understand the whole world that revolves around the famous “sfusato amalfitano” PGI Lemon… history, anecdotes, cultivation techniques and the different uses, tasting, among other things, one of the lemon-based pastry creations of Maestro Sal De Riso.
